San Antonio, Texas

In so many days I will be in Texas! It is Speech and Drama nationals! I have spent the last so many days with a video camera pressed against my ear; in hope to memorize my dramatic interpretation piece! Hopefully all the practice pays off!

Katy's Graduation Party

Well Hans & Edie can finally say they have no more children in high school! Katy has officially graduated and is now on her way to IU!

As we arrived at the party - Katy was not too happy as she was still getting ready and cut her leg shaving - the cousins were very happy to finally meet baby Liam.
William would probably sit and hold the baby all day, except

Kyle would be fighting for his turn. Kyle loves all those little baby parts, especially the cute baby feet!!

Poor Liam is probably thinking - who are all these people that keep passing me around.

Catherine is happy to hold the baby for a minute, but is more excited to go swimming since we've had nothing but rain for the past three days.

Even Uncle Mark got to hold baby Liam, although I don't recall getting to actually hold him, unless you count handing him off to someone else!

Here's maybe the only picture of Nathan for the day as he decided to disappear and never to appear again!

Apparently there was a small incident at graduation so Katy had to get a crease in her hair on Saturday to get a picture with Mom & Dad in her cap and gown. Hopefully the pictures I took with the real film camera turn out better - there's probably a ton of them since I thought it was digital!!

Katy was not too happy either when she discovered 13 year old cousin Zachary had actually grown taller than her!!

The reason for the early arrival of me - Aunt Anne - was soon discovered and forgiven by Katy. Edible Arrangements for the party - Katy was very happy and actually started eating the fruit before it was even unwrapped!

The house was filled with babies, all less than six months old. Liam, Joshua & Jacob and Nick (no picture of him) were all having fun at the party.
We were especially delighted when one (or more) would decide to take a nap for a while!
This sleeping baby is Jacob.

Emily won't like this picture - but she'll get over it!

And Katy won't like this one, but I think it's beautiful and since I can't get the Indiana family to post to the blog anymore, then I can put pictures up of whatever I choose!!

Here's a rare shot of the proud parents - Hans and Edie!

William was also enjoying the pool even though it was freezing cold.

And Jade and Maddy were having fun in the sun!

Emily walked into the house just in time to have her picture taken with Abby & Zachary.

I can't remember the dogs names, but figured they deserved a picture also!

Gifts are always fun and at last count, Katy had received a small fortune in cold hard cash, candy and an empty box!!

Gifts aren't as much fun as swinging with your cousins. Kelly, Kyle, holding Jacob, Jade, Elizabeth (when did she arrive) and Maddy are having fun hanging out together!

Hellen is enjoying the music and a moment without a baby in her arms.

Cornhole is always a hit at the graduation parties! Casey thinks that his tongue has something to do with how well he throws the bag!!

Andrew must be texting Casey some pointers as Uncle Bryan and cousin Dan laugh along!

Sweet baby Joshua was having a tough day - I don't think he enjoys the crowds of people, but Aunt Amy convinced him to just take a break!

Kelly finally gets a turn to hold Jacob - she'll probably steal this picture for her personal blog!!

Now, this is a better picture of Emily and Liam, I think she'll like this one better!!

On the way home, we saw two deer, but only got a picture of this doe!!

The excitement of the party and swimming all day was too much for William - he fell asleep before 8 pm and slept straight through til 8 am Sunday morning. There was no way he was going to make it til 4 am like cousin Adam, who didn't get in any of my pictures!

There were many more people and much more activity at the party than these pictures can show!
I should also mention that Adam is the first person in his family to graduate from college!! Congratulations to him also!!!

All in all, it was a fun day - let's do it again - before Katy graduates from college.
