I know some of you have heard that I was in Mexico during the past month, here are the details:
I went to Mexico for a school trip in order to learn more about the culture and the language. I was there for three weeks and while down there I had to speak Spanish the entire time, yes that meant NO english for three weeks. There were eleven students from the college and two professors that went on this trip. During the trip we had our own personal tour guide each day that would show us around Guadalajara and teach us the culture and history of the city. We would have these tours every Tuesday through Thursday for 5 hours a day. On monday we would have dance classes, art classes, and singing classes for 5 hours. During the two weekends we went to Mazamitlan and Puerto Vallarta. While in Mazamitlan we stayed in small cabins that were on the side of the mountain and had a view to die for! During our stay in Puerto Vallarta we stayed at an All-Inclusive resort right on the beach that had the largest swimming pool in Puerto Vallarta! We were able to eat all we wanted from 6am-1am and for the adults you had free drinks from 11am-1am. Also, during the nights the resort hosted parties on the beach that had dancing, food, and beverages.
During my stay in Mexico I learned a lot and improved my spanish A LOT! Let's just say that towards the end of the trip my spanish professor had to ask me to slow down while speaking because she could not understand what I was saying. :)
For those of you whom have looked at my pictures on Facebook, here is a link to see all of my pictures from the trip (FYI: there are alot! A little over 1000 pictures!).
